Internship Program

A psychology internship is an essential part of a psychology student’s academic and professional career. It offers a tangible experience to interns where they can learn about the practical applications of psychology and implement what they have learned from their textbooks, lectures and professors. The internship is intended to provide counseling interns/students with practical experience in settings where counseling services are offered. The internship experience also provides intern students with evaluative feedback on their knowledge, attitudes, and skills with specific client populations in relevant settings and supports the promotion of school mental health programs and services of PICS Nepal through outreach, assessment, and delivery.
Eligibility:
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology/School Counseling, MA Psychology/Master in Counseling Psychology completed or running
  • The candidate must have a passion to learn, and have patience to empathetically listen to people and their stories.
