Before joining PICS Nepal: The way I used to view everyday problems was complicated. I used to see my problems very intensely which used to give me tension and headache. I wasn’t much of an extrovert, I didn’t feel like hearing others, and hated being in crowd. I used to tell my side of stories only and hardly listen to others which caused me big time as I couldn’t learn from others. After joining PICS Nepal:The way I used to view the problems have changed. I see things with much ease and believe that every problem do have certain solutions. As I have now realized that how stress creates problems, I tend to control my way of thinking. Whatever happens, happens for the good. This made me realize that the more we listen others patiently, the more we get to learn. I have learnt to enjoy even in my problems.

Before joining PICS Nepal:I used to think no body understood me, this caused me to be angry at my family and surrounding. I was very stubborn and always showed my disappointment and frustration towards my near ones. I felt suffocated to continuously stay at home and I used to blame my family for the irritation I had. Before joining PICS Nepal: I used to be very lazy earlier and it was tough to rejoin anything. I had lost all my hope and was confused, frustrated and impatient. I was very hopeless earlier because I faced many failures which caused me to react and get irritated vary easily. I used to believe that my personality is strong and loved my freedom and believed that I was hard to manipulate. Previously, I used to have a lot of distractions and wasn’t able to focus on same thing for long. After joining PICS Nepal: Recently, I’m satisfied with the decision I made. I have now grown confidence, feel relaxed and have grown my patience. I don’t try to think much. The understanding of human nature psychologically has given me the strength to deal with daily issues of life by simply generalizing them. Also, this course also has given me my confidence back. My Review for 'Break-up Workshop' : Workshop overall हेर्दा खेरी राम्रै थियो । Break-up के हो ?, कस्तो कस्तो कुरालाई break-up भएको बुझ्न सकिन्छ भनेर सबै कुरालाई समावेश गर्नु नै भएको थियो । यत्तिको workshop Psychology पढ्ने वा Psychosocial Training बाहेकका लागि Best छ तर Psychosocial Training लिइरहेका students लाई दिँदा हल्का थप कुरा समावेश गर्यो भने झनै राम्रो हुन सक्छ ।

During my three-month internship, I was able to sharpen my research skills and improve both my English and Nepali translation abilities, which helped me understand and express myself in proper Nepali. I also had the chance to contribute to content and reels, which added practical exposure. Subhyam and Basu supported me consistently throughout the internship, and the Trauma Training was especially valuable. Overall, these three months were genuinely fruitful. However, I did experience a sense of disconnection during the Dashain and Tihar holidays, which affected the continuity of the work. One clear area for improvement would be having more structured supervision for interns.

When I joined, my expectation was mostly research work. I came in thinking it would be a very “serious, responsibility-heavy” type of environment, but the experience turned out to be more family-like and supportive. I didn’t expect to be in front of the camera, but I learned to take it lightly, and gradually it became manageable. The experience pushed me toward self-actualization in different ways. The blend of professional structure and personal warmth made the overall environment meaningful. It was a genuinely good learning experience. The organization provides a great learning environment, and with slightly more structured supervision for interns, it could become even more impactful.

My internship experience was epic. Initially, I thought I would mostly be involved in shooting or writing, but eventually, I worked more with videos, podcasts, and content creation, which suited me well. One constructive feedback is that if there is a heavy workload, the organization could still open internships or vacancies to allow students to learn and contribute. Overall, it was a valuable and enjoyable learning experience, and the organization provides a supportive environment for growth.

My expectation was to get hands-on experience and learn how group work functions. During the internship, I learned how to work effectively in a team and use communication skills in practical situations. The way I was treated was very supportive, and I never felt pressured while completing tasks, whether it was writing or working on a topic. One area for improvement would be the workload, it could be slightly higher to provide a more challenging experience.
